YOM KIPPUR FAMILY SERVICE
While children are not fully immersed in Yom Kippur’s demands, they are still spiritual beings in need of guidance and engagement. In sharing Yom Kippur services with adults, our service offers children an opportunity to learn the concepts of t’shuvah (repentance), t’filah (prayer), and tzedakah (charity). Of course, Yom Kippur is not a celebration, but this service is inspired by children, enhancing their connection to Judaism through singing, dancing, and participation within the service.
