Rosh Hashanah, That’s what we call the New Year! A New Year is always full of firsts. When we do/wear something for the first time, it gives us a chance to say Shehechianu, a prayer that means: Thank you, God, for allowing us to celebrate this special time together. Why not coordinate watching services with your family and friends so you can celebrate together, even if you are in different homes? Help your family set the mood: Dress up; Have a special snack; Color some cards to share; Reach out to family and friends to wish them Shanah Tovah! Happy New Year! Baruch atta Adonai, Eloheinu Melech haOlam, Shehechianu v’ki-ya-manu v’hig-i-anu la’zman hazeh.
