IN PERSON & LIVESTREAMED
April Family Shabbat at the Emanu-El Kibbutz
Join us as we kick off our Yom Ha’Atzmaut celebration with a taste of kibbutz life at Temple Emanu-El. Come together for an evening of Israeli-style music, community, and Shabbat spirit! Led by Rabbi Sarah Reines and Director of Lifelong Learning, Mike Witman, this celebration also features our musician in residence, Ross M. Levy and program manager, Tema Cohen. Sing, pray and rejoice in a lively, kibbutz-inspired service, then savor a delicious Israeli-inspired meal, plant something to bring home to your own kibbutz, play games, and enjoy an evening of community warmth, complete with gaga.
We understand that busy parents in our community – from Nursery School to Religious School – want to create a Shabbat experience for their children, but struggle to find the time. That’s why we’re offering accessible moments like Family Shabbat, where parents can participate in their children’s Jewish learning.
Bring your ruach (spirit), and prepare for a memorable night on the Emanu-El Kibbutz! Just register and show up. We’ll handle the rest. Open to all Temple Emanu-El families.
