YOM KIPPUR AVODAH, YIZKOR & CONCLUDING SERVICE
Our afternoon service begins our concluding services of Yom Kippur, providing wisdom from the Torah for the year ahead.
Avodah evokes the days of the Temple where the High Priest’s confession on behalf of all the people of Israel was the pinnacle of the Holy Day. Through poetry, song and art, this special service tells the sacred story of the Jewish people—from creation, through the destruction of the Temple, to the Holocaust and the establishment of the State of Israel.
This service will also include Yizkor to honor our loved ones who have passed on. As the Gates of Heaven close to us, and we are sealed in the Book of Life for another year. May you be sealed in the book of life for another year–Gamar Chatimah Tovah!
THIS EVENT WILL BE IN PERSON & LIVESTREAMED.
