ROSH HASHANAH TASHLICH SERVICE
This year, we will walk together to our traditional location, the duck pond in Central Park, to do a non-traditional version of Tashlich. Rather than throwing bread to into the water to symbolize our casting off of sins, we will instead cast off our sins by gathering waste from the park and our city’s streets and disposing of it properly as a reimagined form of Tashlich. Bread will still be available for those who wish to perform the traditional ritual. Garbage bags and gloves will be provided.
For those who are unable to join us in person, we have provided a past Tashlich service to enjoy on-demand
